Fall Into Books Fest was started in 2024 by Ayesha of Heartbound Bookshop @heartboundbookshop, and author Emily B Rose of Azurose Designs @azurose.designs. It began with a friendship cultivated by two small bookish business owners based out of Anaheim, CA that want to bring more diverse and financially accessible events to the SoCal community. Emily and Ayesha also loved the idea of a Fall themed book festival, reminiscent of fall festivals and scholastic book fairs as a kid. And as two women of marginalized identities, with a passion for uplifting the voices most often unrepresented, Fall Into Books Fest was born.

In 2025, Fall Into Books Fest is continued on by Author Emily B Rose @emilybrosewrites, Bookseller Cricket Demasi @cdk_official, and book lover Christiana @thebookworm.therapist.
