Are tickets refundable/transferrable?

We do not offer refunds for ticket sales. If you are no longer able to attend and wish to sell your ticket, you can join the Discord here and resell your ticket in the resell channel. Tickets must be sold for purchase price or under, and proof of payment will be required before the ticket can be transferred.

What if I need ADA accommodations?

If you require ADA assistance at the festival, please contact us through our website, or at hello@fallintobooksfest.com. All areas of the festival are wheelchair accessible, and there is reserved ADA seating in all panel rooms.

What is the parking situation?

Both people staying at the hotel, or driving in may use the hotel parking. The normal cost is $30 per day, but the hotel has given all Fall Into Books Fest guests a 50% off deal on parking, making it $15 per day.

Are there other hotel options?

Yes! There are many many hotels within walking distance of Hyatt Regency Orange County. Homewood Suites by Hilton, Anaheim Marriott Suites, Delta Hotels Anaheim Garden Grove, Sheraton Garden Grove - Anaheim South Hotel, Residence Inn Anaheim Resort Area/Garden Grove, Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove, Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South, Hamilton Inn & Suites Anaheim Garden Grove, and many more!

How do we keep up to date on information about the event?

We post updates to instagram and threads, our Discord group, and our website.

Are there age restrictions for the event?

There is no age restriction for the festival. Children ages 3 and under do not need a ticket. Anyone 4 and above will need their own ticket.  

 

Please be aware that there are both Young Adult and Adult authors at this festival, and some paneling and books, as well as merchandise sold from vendors, will be for mature audiences.

Do you have dates yet for Fall Into Books Fest 2026?

Not yet, but we will update here when we do!

Will masks be required?

Yes, masks are required at Fall Into Books Fest inside panel rooms, the signing room, and the vendor market hall, to make this festival more accessible to disabled and immunocompromised book lovers!

What is your policy on AI?

At Fall Into Books Fest we do not allow generative AI, or any author or vendor that uses AI in their books, products, or marketing. We believe that AI is unethical, as it steals from human artists, and causes severe damage to our environment. For these reasons we have a zero tolerance policy.

Is there a hotel block? What are the room rates?

Yes! Once it is available, you can access the hotel block here. The rate is $189 per night plus taxes and fees, and the room block allows booking for Friday the 19th through Sunday the 21st.

Are there food places accessible to hotel guests?

Yes! The hotel has a small food/convenience store, a gelato shop, and a coffee shop inside the hotel. There are also many food places within walking distance! Red Robin, Joe’s Crab Shack, Nove Kitchen & Bar, BUcca di Beppo, Ding Tea, Masala Craft Indian Cuisine, Pizza Hut, Tacos Santa Cruz, 7 Leaves Cafe, and Raisin Cane’s Chicken Fingers. Within driving distance there are even more food places. We recommend checking out STC Anaheim GardenWalk!

How many authors will there be?

Around 150 authors will be signing at Fall Into Books Fest

What airport should I fly into?

The closest airports are the John Wayne Santa Ana airport, or the Long Beach airport! Both range from a 20 to 45 minute drive depending on traffic. Los Angeles International Airport is larger/has more options, but is further away, about 40 minutes to an hour and a half depending on traffic.
