Fall Into Books Fest was founded in 2024 by Ayesha of Heartbound Bookshop @heartboundbookshop, and author Emily B. Rose @emilybrosewrites of Azurose Designs @azurose.designs. It began with a friendship cultivated by two small bookish business owners based out of Anaheim, CA that want to bring more diverse and financially accessible events to the SoCal community. Emily and Ayesha also loved the idea of a Fall themed book festival, reminiscent of fall festivals and the scholastic book fairs we all loved as kids. And as two women of marginalized identities, with a passion for uplifting the voices most often unrepresented, Fall Into Books Fest was born.

on by Author Emily B Rose @emilybrosewrites, bookseller Cricket @ckd_unfiltered, and book lover Christiana @thebookworm.therapist.

As a team, they strive to make Fall Into Books Festival a fun, affordable way to build community between book lovers, bookish vendors, and the authors we all love.

Emily is a fat, queer, neurodiverse woman. When not working on the festival, she is an author & small bookish business owner. On the rare occasions her time isn't taken up by bookish pursuits, she can be found snuggling her cats, frolicking around Disneyland, or inhaling her newest TV obsession.

Christiana is "professionally emotional," working as a psychotherapist by day while spending her evenings reading, drinking tea, and spending time with her two rescue pups.

Cricket is a K-pop loving cat mom, who recently finished a side quest as a bookseller, with a background in event planning and a passion for community.
