About Us
Fall Into Books Fest was started in 2024 by Ayesha of Heartbound Bookshop @heartboundbookshop, and author Emily B Rose of Azurose Designs @azurose.designs. It began with a friendship cultivated by two small bookish business owners based out of Anaheim, CA that want to bring more diverse and financially accessible events to the SoCal community. Emily and Ayesha also loved the idea of a Fall themed book festival, reminiscent of fall festivals and the scholastic book fairs we all loved as kids. And as two women of marginalized identities, with a passion for uplifting the voices most often unrepresented.
As of 2025, Fall Into Books Fest is continued on by Author Emily B Rose @emilybrosewrites, Author GW Prouse @gwprouse.books, and book lover Christiana @thebookworm.therapist.

As a team, they strive to make Fall Into Books Festival a fun, affordable way to build community between book lovers, bookish vendors, and the authors we all love.

Emily is a fat, queer, neurodiverse woman. By day she is a bookseller, and by night she is an author & small bookish business owner. On the rare occasions her time isn't taken up by bookish pursuits, she can be found snuggling her cats and binging her next TV obsession.

Christiana is "professional emotional" working as a psychotherapist by day and spends her evenings reading, drinking tea, and spending time with her two rescue pups.
​
GW Prouse is a full time mom, part time educator, and fantasy author who writes about healing emotionally wounded characters in perilous magical worlds.
